It's the fast lane for when you're 100% sure. On a People builder or GEDCOM file card, under Merge into:, press Quick merge and it merges straight from the ticks on that card – one save, no questions. Not quite sure? Press Merge into and their name instead, and the merge page takes you through it side by side. For example, say the card is Grandad George and you know for certain he's the George on your tree – Quick merge does it in one go.
Where to find it
Settings (bottom row of the top bar, far right) → People builder
Only people with the "Add people" tick.
On a phone: if the Settings tabs are tucked away, press ☰ Menu (top left) first.
