Phew – it's not gone for good. Deleted pictures go to the Recycle bin, and the tree owner can put them back for 60 days. For example, if you deleted the only photo of Grandad's wedding while tidying up, ask the owner to put it back from the Recycle bin. After 60 days pictures are removed for good, so it's worth asking soon.
Where to find it
Settings (bottom row of the top bar, far right) → Recycle bin
On a phone: if the Settings tabs are tucked away, press ☰ Menu (top left) first.
