Yes – use Crop or turn to trim a picture or put a sideways one the right way up. It makes a new copy, so the original is never touched. You can rename a picture too. If someone else added it, they choose whether the family can rename and edit their pictures – for example, Grandma can tick "Let the family rename and edit my pictures" so the grandchildren can tidy up her uploads.
