Personal settings are just yours: your details, how the tree looks for you, your emails, messages, voice notes and your own undo list. Settings is for the whole family – the tree's name, who's invited and what they can do, display choices and tidy-up tools – so it's mostly for the owner and admins. For example, changing your text size is personal, while renaming the tree is a tree setting.
Where to find it
Press your name in "Signed in as" (top row) → your card opens → Personal settings on the card's button row
Settings, bottom row, far right
Only people with the "Settings" tick.
On a phone: if the card's buttons are tucked away, press ☰ Menu first.
